A solid, no-fuss jacket for when the weather can’t quite make up its mind.
This is the kind of layer you keep by the door because it works most days. Wind-resistant where it matters, breathable where it helps, and warm enough without feeling bulky. Not built for extreme expeditions. Very good for real life.
What it does well
- Keeps the wind out without turning you into a sweaty mess
- Waterproof with taped seams to keep you dry
- Light insulation through the body for everyday warmth
- Stretch panels for a bit of give when you’re moving
- Hooded, because forecasts aren’t always right
- Practical pockets (including a chest pocket you’ll actually use)
Fabric & build
- Water column: 12,000mm
- Breathability: 30,000gm2 / 24h
- Main fabric:
- Materials: 96% polyamide, 4% elastane. Contrasts in 64% polyester, 34% cotton, 2% elastane
- Stretch panels: polyester with elastane for movement where you need it

- Lining: smooth polyester for easy layering
- Wind-resistant outer with breathable sections to stop overheating
What it doesn’t try to be
- Not ultralight technical gear
- Not something you need to overthink
Good for
Weekend walks, early starts, sideline standing, quick missions outside when it’s colder than you expected.
Fit & feel
Comfortable, slightly structured. Easy to layer underneath without feeling like a marshmallow.
The Get Out take
Last season’s jacket, still doing exactly what it was made to do. Just without the original price tag.
